Completed my PhD in 2012 from the Department of Geography and Environmental Science. The work included:
\n\u2013 38 years\u2019 time series satellite data analysis to map planform change of a large alluvial river.
\n\u2013 geomorphological process modelling to understand river planform pattern changes and threshold for chute cut-offs.
\n\u2013 effect of meandering at avulsion node and bifurcation on avulsion of large river systems.
\nThe research was presented at the American Geophysical Union Fall meeting in 2010 and in European Geoscience Union in 2011.
